Expert Assessment for

Expert Assessment. Precise Diagnosis. Targeted Treatment.

Accurate diagnosis is the foundation of effective treatment. Diagnosis is established through careful history-taking, clinical examination, and review of any previous imaging or reports. Where injection therapy is appropriate, ultrasound guidance is used to improve the accuracy of medication placement into the intended anatomical structure.

HCPC-registered extended scope podiatrist in Bedford specialising in ultrasound-guided joint injections, nail surgery for ingrown toenails, advanced heel pain treatments, and forefoot pain — including ankle block anaesthesia for advanced plantar fasciitis treatments and targeted local anaesthetic injection to help clarify where pain is arising from the neuroma region. No GP referral required.

Bridging the gap between conservative management and surgical intervention — with clinician-led injection therapies that offer a precise, targeted alternative when first-line treatment hasn't resolved your pain.

Also a medical aesthetics practitioner — anti-wrinkle, dermal fillers, jaw tension & bruxism treatment, fat dissolving, and advanced skin rejuvenation. Formally trained at the Harley Street Institute.

Why Our Approach is Different

Treating the cause,

Many foot and ankle conditions produce similar symptoms, yet the underlying causes can be very different. Treating the wrong diagnosis may not provide lasting relief — and in some cases, it can delay the treatment that would actually work.

At Revive-Restore, diagnosis is established through careful history-taking, clinical examination, review of previous imaging and reports where appropriate, and referral for further investigations when clinically indicated. Only once an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan have been reached are procedures considered.

Where injection therapy is appropriate, ultrasound guidance is used to improve the accuracy of medication placement into the intended anatomical structure. If additional investigations are required, these will be discussed and arranged — or you will be referred to the most appropriate clinician or imaging service.

Treatment recommendations are always based on the overall clinical picture. Not on a single scan finding. Not on a protocol.

Clinical principle

The right treatment starts with the right diagnosis.

01

Thorough Clinical Assessment

Every consultation begins with a detailed clinical assessment of your symptoms, history and functional demands — not a rushed five-minute appointment.

02

Diagnosis Based on the Full Clinical Picture

Previous imaging, specialist reports and investigation results are reviewed alongside the clinical examination. If further investigations are needed, these are discussed and arranged — or onward referral is made to the most appropriate clinician or imaging service. A scan finding is a starting point, not a conclusion.

03

Targeted, Evidence-Informed Treatment

Once the cause is understood, treatment is selected to address it directly. If injection therapy is appropriate, it is performed under real-time ultrasound guidance for precision. If a different approach is more suitable, that is recommended instead.

About the Clinician

A podiatrist first —

24 years working in a podiatric surgery setting alongside a consultant podiatric surgeon shaped the way Sarah practises today. That environment taught her that successful outcomes begin with careful assessment, accurate diagnosis, and selecting the most appropriate treatment for each individual — not simply performing a procedure.

That philosophy remains at the heart of Revive-Restore. Whether you attend with heel pain, forefoot pain, an ingrowing toenail or another foot and ankle problem, the aim is always to understand the underlying cause before recommending treatment.

As an HCPC-registered podiatrist and independent prescriber, Sarah combines more than two decades of NHS and private clinical experience with a patient-centred approach — helping people make informed decisions about their care with confidence.
